The Old Workshop Charlestown is a wonderful historic building situated at the heart of Charlestown in Cornwall, next to the main car park.

Originally converted from an old gunpowder store built around 1800, after extensive refurbishment, The Old Workshop, Charlestown now houses three very interesting businesses...



Cscape Art located at the heart of The Old Workshop, is the gallery and studio of artist Sarah Blakey and photographer Mick Blakey.

Mick portrays the Cornish coast and landscape with his atmospheric photographs and Sarah draws inspiration from the working life of Cornish & Devonshire harbours and creeks for her paintings of river and seascapes, boats and fishermen.




The Craft Kiln at The Old Workshop, Charlestown is a showcase for Cornish Crafts, where you can meet the makers and perhaps purchase a unique handmade gift.

Amongst the hand-made products on sale, you will find jewellery, prints, cards, felt work, ceramics, pictures, homewares, patchwork, wood turning, glass, soaps and skincare products.


Sail Loft Emporium houses a fine array of antiques, collectables, vintage and retro items.

Around 40 individual stalls and cabinets displaying china, glass, jewellery, silver, kitchenalia, tools, coins and medals as well as vintage accessories and hand-decorated small items of furniture. And much, much more.
